您好（Hello)！
This is Ka Lee Wang! My students like to call me Wang Lao Shi (“Lao Shi” means teacher in Chinese). I am from Hong Kong. I first came to the US and obtained my Master’s degree in Social Work. I met my husband in the States, and we got married in Taiwan and I lived there for 5 years. We came back to the states for 20 years, and I’ve been in Charleston for almost 14 years. We have two beautiful college children and both of them speak fluent Chinese.

The Bible says, “Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me, my God, till I declare your power to the next generation, your mighty acts to all who are to come.” And yes, “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.” So, I’d like to not only teach Chinese, but also through me in everyday trying to be an example, and help others know and grow in His words. This is my prayer.
