Biography:
Hello, my name is Patricia Amoretti. I’m a wife and a mother of three, two of whom are adults now and I’m very proud of them. I currently live in the mountains of Tennessee with my husband and my beautiful youngest daughter.
I was born in Peru and I love my country very much. Peru is an amazing place with many different climates, natural wonders and the most amazing food I’ve ever tasted.
My mother was a special education teacher and all my life I saw her love and dedication towards these children with learning disabilities, and the satisfaction it gave her when they succeeded. She was my example and inspiration that frame my life and vocation.
I was very young when I started working with children at my local church. It is because of them that I decided to start studying education, to better understand the little ones that God placed in my hands and to help them grow in the values and principles of God’s word. I believe that if we direct our children onto the right path, when they are older, they will not leave it. (Proverbs 22:6)
I am excited and thankful for the opportunity given to me by LOM, to creatively teach and share my native culture with the children and their families by immersing them into a new language based on biblical principles that will help them follow God fully in their lives.
