My name is Giovanna Martinez. I am Peruvian and I live in Lima. I am married and have three beautiful and playful children. Since I was little I attended a church in my community. Although my mother was not a Christian at the time, she encouraged me and my siblings to go to church because she wanted a better future for us. I have known the Word of God since I was 5 years old, and at the age of 14 I decided to serve as a children’s teacher in Sunday School.

I studied education because I wanted my students to learn the word of God effectively, and I have specialized in teaching, reading, and writing. I have taught the Bible to children, youth, and adults in different contexts, enjoying the opportunity to contribute to the plans that God has for them. I am grateful to God for the opportunity that Language on Mission gives me to share my culture by linking my passion for teaching and my calling.
